For Gallery 1988's 5th Anniversary Idiot Box (flier)show celebrating the guilty pleasures of the boob tube, Le Merde did the voodoo that he does so well... on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figure dripping with thick blood. Great colors on this piece. Go on... you can admit that you spent plenty of after school hours watching the four turtles whup shredder's behind. Idiot Box opens with a large artist roster on Thursday April 2nd @ Gallery 1988 Los Angeles.

Marco Rached was born on October 24, 1981 and shortly afterwards began drawing ninja turtles during class instead of listening to his teachers. His naughty habit of doodling and reading comics during karate practice eventually developed into a vice, now called Superfucker. After years of creating images and ideas on paper, fate fucked these illustrations onto t-shirts. It’s always difficult to tell where the art ends and the shirt begins since both now so strongly influence each other.
